Parties at Hoodles

Our Playbarn Parties are perfect for children aged 3 – 10 years. We also clean up afterwards – leaving you to take the tired and happy birthday child home along with the remainder of the cake! Click items below to expand.

  • Our dedicated party hosts will take care of the setup, food, room decoration, party games and will even lead the singing of Happy Birthday!

    Number: Minimum of 10 children and maximum of 30 children.

    Cost

    • £16.00 per child. Hosted in large party room

      Included:

    • Free play in the playbarn for 60 minutes

    • Depending on your party numbers, 1 or 2 tables will be allocated for your use in the barn

    • Unlimited diluting juice

    • 60 minutes in our large party room with 2 party hosts, food and games

    Total Party Time: 2 hours (60 minutes in the play barn, 50 minutes for food and games and 10 minutes to vacate the room)

    Party food includes a selection of freshly prepared rolls, pizza, dessert of your choice, crisps and unlimited juice.

    Please note the menu options are not per child, the choice selected is for the whole party.

    Number: Minimum of 5 children and maximum of 10 children.

    Cost: £14.00 per child (£70 deposit required at the time of booking).

    Included: Play for 90 minutes, juice, crisps and pancake option or sandwiches & sausage rolls.

    2 pancakes per child, served with a choice of toppings (fresh fruit, jam, chocolate spread, cream)

    Total Party Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

  • We’d love to welcome your nursery, playgroup, or official parent and toddler group to Hoodles!
    Group outings take can be booked on term-time weekdays only.

    There are various options to choose from (see below) These prices are based on a 2 hour stay at Hoodles:

    For the children:

    • Play and juice £6.60/child

    • Play, juice and 1 snack £7.20/child

    • Play, juice and 2 snacks £7.80/child

    • Play, juice and 3 snacks £8.40/child

    • Snack options:
    -marshmallow top hats
    -chocolate crispy
    -oat & raisin cookie
    -fruit platter (selection of pre-cut fruit including melon grapes and more)
    -choice of fruit (whole apple, banana or tangerine)
    -pot of grapes
    -pot of jelly
    -pot of raisins
    -crackers or oatcakes
    -cheese (babybel or cheddar)
    -bag of crisps
    -choob yoghurt

    • Play, juice and lunch bucket (in a bag) £11.40/child
    Lunch includes-a filled roll (choose from ham, cheese, tuna mayo, egg mayo, jam or chocolate spread)- a bag of crisps- a chocolate crispy cake- a yoghurt pot or choob- choice of drink (carton of apple juice, orange juice, flavoured milk, cup of milk, diluting juice or water.)
    Most dietry requirements can be catered for.

    For the accompanying staff a free drink will be provided. White coffee, black coffee, tea or soft drink. The full menu will be available for adults to purchase from.

  • We are available for private hire after closing time (w/ends only)
    We can cater for between 20 - 50 children.
    Private hire parties cost £16 per child plus £100 exclusive hire fee.

FAQs

Most questions you have will be answered below, if not - don’t hesitate to contact us!

  • 5 minutes before is ample time to arrive before the party.

  • The choices you select are for the full party and are not individually for each child. We ask that you choose 2 sandwich options, 1 pizza option and 1 dessert option for the full party.

  • Yes, you can - we provide balloons on the party table in the playbarn, but you are welcome to bring your own. However, please note that we cannot provide helium to blow up balloons.

  • Yes, you can. All we ask is that you sign a disclaimer to say it wasn’t made within Hoodles.

  • Yes, we can. We feel children get the most out of our parties from 3-10 years old. For under 3’s, you may prefer to look at our reserved table party package.

  • No, we will normally always have parties scheduled in before and after yours so there’s no room for extra time.

  • Normally 2 – 3 games for playbarn parties depending on the age of the children and how long is left after they have finished eating. You can bring prizes or we can provide them (for a small charge)

  • We will try our best to cater for dietary requirements however if they are severe then we ask that the parents/carers provide their own food for the child/children affected.

  • No, no outside food should be brought into Hoodles unless for dietary requirements, babies or the birthday cake. Adult breakfast, sandwich and/or traybake platters can be ordered from us in advance for your party. We can also take a tea and coffee order on the day.

  • If you’d like to purchase a drink for your adult guests, just let us know when you arrive and we will ask everyone what they would like on arrival.
    Drinks are then added to your party balance which you can pay at the end.

  • Yes, you can – our party room is decorated with gender neutral birthday room decorations (banners and tablecloths), but you are welcome to bring your own. However, please note that nothing can be taped or pinned to the walls.

    Please remember that you only have 1 hour in the party room (45 minutes to eat then 15 minutes to vacate the room) and there may not always be more than 15 minutes before your party starts to decorate as we will normally always have a party scheduled in before yours.

  • Yes, we have Sonos. If you wish to have a selected playlist, then please share this with us when you arrive so we can make sure it works.

  • Yes, we do. However, if you wish a specific theme then we ask that you provide these yourself and the party hosts will be happy to set this out for you.

  • We will always try our best to get your party re-scheduled as soon as possible.

  • Day or 2 before at latest if after the original deadline.

  • If your party has 14 guests or more you will be allocated 2 tables in the playbarn. If you have less than 14 guests then 1 table will be allocated.
